Kinseth Hospitality Companies and RISE Modular Breaks Ground on Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel in Owatonna, MN

Kinseth Hospitality Companies (KHC) is pleased to announce the breaking of ground at the construction site of the Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel in Owatonna, Minnesota. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Home2 Suites, located at 230 Allan Avenue SW, took place on June 1, 2023. To kick-off the event, Gary Kinseth, Kinseth Hospitality Companies Vice President; Tom Kuntz, Owatonna Mayor; Kris Busse, Owatonna City Administrator; Brad Meier, Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism President; Thomas Noble, West Development President; and Christian Lawrence, RISE Modular CEO, each shared their excitement for the project. Following, a group of investors broke ground on the coming Home2 Suites which will offer guest rooms and amenities for both leisure and business guests.

Owatonna is a great business community and Home2 Suites is a fantastic brand that will fill a need for an extended stay hotel that is currently needed in the market,” expressed Les Kinseth, President of Kinseth Hospitality Companies. “We are also excited to be building our first modular construction project with local Owatonna companies RISE Modular and Premier Bank.”
Guests in attendance were able to learn more about the project, see floorplans, take home information about the hotel brand, and attend plant tours of the RISE Modular facility. The 84-room hotel is being developed by West Development, Inc., RISE Modular, Premier Banks, and Kinseth Hospitality Companies and will be managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies. The hotel is expected to be completed Winter 2023.
