Kinseth Hospitality Companies (KHC) today announced two portfolio transitions effective July 1, 2026: the acquisition of the Irish Cottage & Suites, featuring Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub & Grill, in Galena, Illinois, and the takeover of hotel management operations for the Hyatt Place Cincinnati/ Blue Ash in Blue Ash, Ohio.
NEW OWNERSHIP: IRISH COTTAGE & SUITES, GALENA, IL
Effective July 1, 2026, Kinseth has acquired the Irish Cottage & Suites, a boutique hotel in the heart of Galena’s historic district. The property includes Frank O’Dowd’s Irish Pub & Grill, a full-service restaurant and bar known for its Irish-inspired menu and live entertainment. The acquisition adds a distinctive, locally beloved asset to Kinseth’s growing portfolio and reflects the company’s continued investment in destination markets across the Midwest.

Also effective July 1, 2026, Kinseth has assumed management operations of the Hyatt Place Cincinnati/Blue Ash, expanding the company’s presence in the greater Cincinnati market. The transition brings the property under Kinseth’s operational and brand-standard oversight, with the existing team remaining in place to ensure a seamless guest experience.
